Nice location, the rooms are by the beach

We recently stayed at this resort as a large group, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. Despite being told the resort was at 80% capacity, it felt completely empty, with no atmosphere or activities for the kids. This place is definitely not kid-friendly. If you want to eat after 5:00 PM, good luck! There’s nowhere to go unless you’ve made a reservation. And if you’re hoping for a coffee, forget it—there’s none available after 5:00 PM. Even during the day, they told us there was no milk for coffee! Plus, they were out of Nutella for the crêpes, which was ridiculous. The food overall was not fresh, especially compared to other resorts we’ve visited. On top of that, many of the staff were incredibly rude, and everything seemed to revolve around squeezing more money out of guests. We also had ants in the restaurant—completely unacceptable—and faced multiple issues with our rooms. This is not what we expected from an "all-inclusive" hotel. Definitely not worth the money.

Beautiful grounds and rooms

everything is really far apart if you’re trying to get to the el dorado plan to walk 15+ mins rain or shine because getting a golf cart shuttle is NOT easy. you have to keep your head on because they play a lot of word games and try to screw you. we found a cockroach in our room and a cockroach egg in between our bed when the exterminator came in… and we had to literally pull teeth to get a new room!!! then we were told to we could get an 80 min massage for one price plus a discount because we were wedding guests. when we got to the spa they told us the discount would be applied at check out. then we get to check out and they have never heard of any such thing. they also made us pay for our covid tests despite the paperwork we signed for the tests stating that they were free…. very upsetting/stressful trying to get problems solved with staff and management. this is not what you want to deal with on vacation.

The food was good. The sister hotel next door had much nicer facilities.

Pools were cold and underfilled, so the "infinity" feature didn't work. Room was very dark, and living room section was missing the TV on the wall. No buffet for lunch or dinner, despite the website stating there would be one. Beach is not swimmable - there are giant rocks/sand bags in the water.

We stayed on the 3rd floor building 18 on a swim out suite. The view was incredible and the room was very nice. The place is taken care of not perfectly but good enough. The service employees are all very friendly and helpful. The room service was very good, good selection, good tasting quick food and the employees delivered quickly. The AC they have in the room works amazingly well.

There is a few things we did not like and most likely won’t be coming back. First of the whole beach is unswimable they have concrete blocks all over the beach to break the waves and It’s also pretty rocky. We thought that I would be amazing to have access to 3 resorts and enjoy all the properties. We soon found out that it was a bad idea. They basically want you to use the other property’s restaurants and it can take forever to get a shuttle to go all the way to the furtherest property for breakfast or dinner. The second thing is that our concierge promised somethings that were not delivered and messed up some of our reservations. They were very pushy trying to get us to attend a timeshare presentation and every morning when we would come down from our room they would ask the same thing. They would also call us early in the morning and wake us up trying to have us come down to talk to them. And lastly, the food was not that great. It was pretty bland and I wasn’t impressed with the selection. The map you are given does not state when and what times each restaurant is open or what the dress code is (very important since you have to shuttle from one side to the other only to get denied entrance). They have an app that has all the right information except a map, you can’t order anything through it even though it seems like you can. They want you to do everything through the concierge which I find very annoying because I want to be able to enjoy a vacation without being pressured into a sales presentation every time I need something. For the price we paid, they fall very short of being a diamond hotel or luxury resort. When you have dinner at “Las Fuentes” restaurant and they have a $10 dlls fee extra per person, but what they don’t tell you is that is another sales tactic to sell you a wine tasting for $45 dlls once sited when they claim to be a gourmet all-inclusive resort.

Very quiet, not much going on

The service people were very nice. Always a smile and a greeting.

The food was average at best. No vanilla nor chocolate ice cream on the property!!

The biggest inconvenience ever. I have no idea how they got 5 star review on here, unless they bought some bots. Stay aw

This was the worst experience I had at a resort. I was traveling with my wife and 2 year old for my birthday. paid the full amount through bookings, checked in and everything. Then on the 3rd day of my vacation they informed me they did not receive payment from bookings. I spent almost 2 hours on the phone with bookings (On my Birthday) just for them to tell me that yes the property already took the money. I spoke to multiple people in the staff and no one could help me. On check out I was forced to pay another full amount at the property, despite me providing them bank statement, receipts. Imagine if someone did not have that extra money to pay, then what? Well the resort manager said “they would have to find a way to pay”. Granted the resort manager told me this had happened before, so you think they would have put things in place to protect the guest; especially since this a “family resort “. The lack of communication is ridiculous, you call the front desk and can never reach anyone. There’s no one at the front desk if you arrive late.
